Description

I am a huge fan of these APHEX units. The 230 predates APHEX Channel but has the same key features (Big Bottom and Aural Exciter) What we determined was in the 230 with the post it note the power supply was damaged beyond repair. The other two power up but do not produce any output. RODE now owns the rights to APHEX products and they have one authorized repair facility in California. My hope was to cannibalize these 3 units into one or two working units for resale but my tech got frustrated and gave up. He indicated he could eventually do what I wanted him to do but it would take too long as he was working on these in his spare time, they are not his specialty. So I gave up also and decided to cut my losses. I bought the 3 units for $373.65 earlier this year and have an additional $184.92 in bench charges. Needless to say, $400 plus shipping is a sacrifice.
