This is a 1958 RCA 12ax7. It has the classic long black plates and slanted getter. I bought it as NOS, and put perhaps 170 or so hours it. They are widely considered one of the top choices for Phono/Guitar amp applications. It is quiet, dynamic and has the famous gorgeous tone as used in my high end preamp.
