IsoCorX-IsoBlocks are specially engineered to very effectively absorb vibrations from being transmitted to turntables and other audio equpiment. You may use IsoCorx directly under the equipment or under a maple or marble platform. These IsoCorx are especially good with light to medium weight equipment as these will handle up to 99 pounds per set. Iso-SpeaX (available on our other auctions) are recommended for speaker cabinets and equipment weighing between 30 pounds and 500 pounds. Each IsoCorX pad measures about 2" x 2" x 11/16" thick and is constructed from specially designed and fabricated rubber outer layers specially fused together with cork to absorb vibrations and keep those vibrations away from other components. The use of these IsoCorx vibration pads is especially important for audiophiles as the small vibrations in the listening room can adversely affect the quality of the sound from the system.
