This listing is for a vintage GE 6SL 7 GT vacuum tube. The date code on it is one – 17 and the production code is 188–5. This tube tested very good and had near perfect balance . It was about 95 % balanced . This tube doesn’t appear to have ever been installed in anything long-term. It does look like it was either used as a test tube or just for a short period and somebody didn’t like the way it sounded or something. But it’s still very strong and has good balance. I’ll be shipping it out in a replacement white box . I recently bought a house and have decided to sell off most of my tube collection, although I’m keeping a select portion of it because I still use them a few amplifiers and electronics in my personal collection. Most of my tubes are getting sold because my house just doesn’t have space to store them. That being said if you’re interested in more vintage tubes, check my other listings!
